Ghoomer premiered on the Opening Night of the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, receiving a standing ovation from Anurag Kashyap, Vijay Varma, Mrunal Thakur, and Aparshakti Khurana. Additionally, Abhishek Bachchan, Saiyami Kher, and Angad Bedi paid tribute to Shane Warne at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, while Shabana Azmi hoisted the Indian flag.
