Girliyapa’s Kanika bags Best Short format film; MX Player won the OTT Platform of the Year award

It was a night of merry and celebrations as SPOTT Awards recognised the efforts and achievements of the creators of video and audio content. The awards, which was organised by Times Internet, was held in Mumbai on Thursday.

While SKTV and Banijay Asia bagged the Best Production Company for The Kapil Sharma Show, Girliyapa’s Kanika took home the Best Short format film. MX Player won the OTT Platform of the Year award and Hostar’s Koi Yaar Nahi Far – IPL on Hotstar took home Gold in Best Marketing Campaign category. Voot, On the other hand, won Best Marketing Initiative by an OTT Platform for It’s Not That Simple.
